Muros en piedra seca

Los muros en piedra seca que cubren la isla de Ibiza, se consideran patrimonio cultural. Se usa en la construcción de muros desde hace muchos años y se basa en aprovechar todas las piedras limpiando el terreno para luego así utilizarlas en la construcción del muro, este se trabaja en seco y sin ningún tipo de hormigón ni mortero. Las piedras más grandes y largas se utilizan para la cara que se ve, las medianas y pequeñas para el relleno.

Estos muros se hacían y se hacen actualmente para dividir fincas, cultivos, hacer bancales o bien para decorar el entorno.
